Part of Manage Performance & Finance

Connect delivered care to financial accountability.

Relay follows the money through your network: authorize services, price them from your fee schedules, adjudicate what was delivered, review invoices, record payments and reconcile them—with every approval controlled and every dollar traceable.

What your team can accomplish

Follow the evidence from authorization to recorded payment.

Who it serves

  • Finance and payment operations
  • Supervisors approving authorizations
  • Partner billing staff
  • Executives tracking financial position

Supported workflows

  1. Authorize services

Request, approve in full or in part, deny, cancel, close and reinstate, with decision letters. Each authorization books an accrual that is released if it is denied, cancelled, closed or expires.

  2. Price from fee schedules

Effective-dated fee schedules that your organization loads, including CSV import with preview, priced by service date.

  3. Adjudicate delivered units

Each unit is checked for an approved authorization, the date window, the unit limit, duplicates and proof quality. Relay recommends approve, deny or pend; a person decides.

  4. Review invoices

Partners submit invoices through a pre-submit check, and finance approves, rejects or voids lines with a duplicate check, an authorization ceiling and no self-approval.

  5. Record payments

Create payment batches and runs, and mark them paid only with a bank, ACH, wire or check reference; releases need their own permission.

  6. Reconcile

Match paid invoices to payment batches, reconcile 835 remittances to claims, and compare expected and received per-member-per-month revenue.

  7. See your financial position

An append-only liability ledger, unpriced and unfunded work, time to cash, and an IBNR estimate once enough history exists.
